Spine Center Atlanta, the outpatient surgery centres in the state of Georgia, has partnered with San Diego based Ospitek Inc. to implement Ospitek’s proprietary, IoT and AI enabled, patient pathway management and business intelligence platform, View. Leveraging technology to streamline processes, increase profitability, and most importantly to improve the patient experience, the View platform will immediately support the delivery of care for Spine Center Atlanta and their associated patient population.
Driven entirely by the patient’s movement, Ospitek’s platform monitors and communicates patient status and procedural progress information to ASC staff and caretakers, empowering them to independently follow surgical progress, receive automated event notifications, and to leverage bi-directional communication tools from any approved, web-enabled, device.
This recent partnership will enable Spine Center Atlanta to gain access to live, fully automated, visualisation of the entire patient pathway, eliminating many of the manual dependencies and administrative burdens associated with pre-surgery preparation, patient tracking, and surgical coordination.
Linking the physical patient journey to a fully digitised experience will unlock a tremendous amount of actionable performance data and AI driven insights on patient throughput, OR utilisation, scheduling performance, environmental condition management, the patient experience, and more.
James Chappuis, the founder, owner and senior orthopedic surgeon at Spine Center Atlanta, says “I believe that strategic alliances and partnerships are critical in today’s world of technology. We look forward to our partnership with Ospitek as we continue to embark on providing a superior patient experience.”
